‘Motherly work’ is actually a creative work of hand

Mihag Nepal Handicrafts Pvt Ltd. is a newly registered family run company. It aims to serve a
common purpose of promoting handmade art and crafts nationally and internationally.Before the
inception of this company, Alisha Adhikari- founder of MNH Pvt. Ltd marked her journey
through a social media page named ‘Craftylishaa’. Her passion and creativity in woolen and
thread crafts gained love from her followers and the page started to receive occasional orders.
Being a psychologist and academician herself, Alisha with her psychosocial counselor mother
and development practitioner sister expanded her five years long hobby turned business into a
formal business as MNH Pvt. Ltd.
The art of designing woolen products have always been associated with “motherly work” and
less appreciated by people in the competitive market despite the high value it held in the
household. The labor and affection added to every strand of wool and handmade products needed
equal appreciation and space in the market, so did the creative hands who design them- in short
there was need of realizing demand and supply of handmade creativity. Hence, MNH Pvt. Ltd
intents to address these aspects and empower people from varied strata of the society who want
to do more than what they have already achieved.
